The people who matter, and someone in the conversation who remembers
A messaging app for the handful of people closest to you, with one thing no other messaging app has: an assistant who is actually in the conversation. Not a tab you switch to. Not a bot you summon for a party trick. A member of the circle who has been reading along, answers when asked, and otherwise stays out of the way.
Ask once. Everyone gets the answer.
No more screenshot, paste, and a paragraph explaining what you asked. Ask in the thread where the plan is being made and the answer is right there, for the people it was for, written from what they can all see.
It waits to be asked
A group chat with an AI in it sounds like a group chat with someone who will not stop talking. This one listens. In any conversation with other people in it, it reads along, keeps the context, and speaks only when spoken to. Your family thread stays your family's.
Take it somewhere private
Someone in the family posts the test results, and the doctor's verdict with them. You have questions you are not ready to ask in front of everyone. Pull any message into a conversation with just miilky and talk it through where nobody else can read. The original stays where it was, and nobody is told.
What you share stays where it was
Take a message out of a circle and you are asked where it goes: a conversation with just miilky, or one of this circle's own. The list ends there. Nothing from one circle can land in another, and what travels is a copy that says who said it and when, so the original never moves.
Think it through alone, then bring it back
Work out the hard message, the plan with the numbers in it, what to ask the doctor. When it is ready, one tap carries it into the circle, under your name, saying where it came from.
Show someone who is not here
Most of the people you would show an answer to are not about to install anything. Send a link, or let someone beside you scan it. They open it in any browser, read what you sent, and can write back. You choose what goes on the page, nothing gets there without you, and you can end it whenever you like. If they want miilky of their own, the same page brings them in, already connected to you, and they can bring what they wrote along.
It remembers, so you do not have to
An assistant that forgets you between conversations is a search box with manners. Mention your knee and the six weeks it kept you off running are already part of the picture. Ask it, in your own conversation, "weren't we talking about a rice balls recipe last week?" and you are taken back to that exact moment.
What you say alone stays alone
The obvious worry: does what you said privately shape what it says in front of your family? No, and it is built so that it cannot. An answer in a circle is written from that circle. Your private conversations, your other circles and the short list of what it keeps in mind about you never reach a conversation with other people in it.
No feed. No public profile. No one browsing you.
There is nothing to scroll and nothing to follow. Nobody can search their way to what you wrote. What you write is seen by the people in that conversation and by the assistant. The one exception is a message someone in the conversation reports, which goes to the two people who run miilky. Someone added to a circle later sees it from the moment they joined, not from the beginning. Your messages go to AI models to write replies. Never for ads. Never sold.
Nobody gets in without your say-so
Most people on miilky were brought in by someone who already knew them. An invite is not a recommendation to a stranger; it is a seat for someone you would want in the middle of your life. Everything after that is mutual: connecting takes both sides, and nobody can put you in a circle you did not say yes to. When your people are in the room with you, hold up a code instead of typing numbers: whoever scans it joins you.
A practice you keep, not a streak you break
Sunday walks. Calling your mother. Writing before anyone else is up. Set the rhythm and it comes around when you said it would. There is no percentage, no streak, and no record of a missed one, anywhere. Come back after three weeks away and that is a return, not a failure.
It checks in, and you can tell it to stop
Sometimes it writes first: a word a few hours after a conversation that seemed to carry a lot, or the rhythm you set coming around. Every one of those says what it is and why it came, and every one can be quieted from the message itself, and the button says how long.
In your language, and in theirs
Your grandmother writes in Russian. Her Russian stays, under her name, and the English sits right under it. Say yes once and nobody has to do anything differently, and the assistant answers each of you in the language you wrote in.
A messaging app first
Messages appear the moment you send them and tell you where they have got to. Written in a tunnel, they send themselves when the signal comes back. A busy thread does not buzz forty times. Photos, files, reactions, several threads in one circle, search that takes you to the moment.
Come and see
miilky is in early access. Install it, and bring the handful of people who matter.
